If you’re a fitness freak you probably know the importance of eating oats for breakfast.
Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. Breakfast should be rich in complex carbs so that it could keep us fueled and energetic throughout our working hours. Not just carbs but oats are also rich in fibers, antioxidants, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and what not.
But eating oats every day can be so boring as it doesn’t taste so interesting. So let’s see how to make 10 mins oats pancakes which are delicious, healthy and perfect for bodybuilding.
These tasty oats pancakes also contain other healthy ingredients like banana, almonds, and honey.
- 60 grams oats
- 1 average sized ripe banana (Use a more ripped banana to make pancakes taste sweeter).
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder.
- 2 drops vanilla essence.
- 2 tsp butter (to avoid pancakes from sticking to the pan).
- Cocoa powder (to give chocolaty flavor to the pancakes).
- Strawberries, nuts, almonds, etc.(for toppings).
- Honey (for additional sweetness).
Firstly grind the oats in a grinder. Smash a banana in a bowl. Add powdered oats, eggs, cocoa powder, baking powder, and drops of vanilla essence in the same bowl and blend it well. Keep it aside for 5 mins.
After 5 mins pre-heat a pan for 1-2mins. Put some butter on the pan. And now pour the oats batter on the pan in circular shapes.
Check if pancakes are ready or not by poking with a knife in between, If the batter sticks to the knife then wait for a little more, if the knife comes out clean then your pancakes are ready.
Stack 3-4 pancakes on a plate, pour a little bit of honey on the top and also add chopped berries, nuts, almonds, etc. as per your wish.
